Description
A history museum in Paris
The Chateau de Malmaison translates to mean “bad house” and dates back as early as 1244. It has passed through the hands of many well-known individuals throughout history, including Charles VI and Josephine Bonaparte. It was inaugurated as a museum in 1906 and has displayed many exhibitions.
Every year since 1990 the Chateau de Malmaison offers two different displays. Each one is accompanied by a catalog. A few different displays in the past have included Dagoty in Paris, the porcelain Empress, Toys of Princes (1770-1870), and The Empress Josephine and the Natural Sciences.
