Musee du Vieux Montmartre is a museum that depicts the life of years gone by in the Montmartre neighborhood. The museum is in the 17th Century building where the well-known artist, Auguste Renoir had his studio in 1876. It was also home to other internationally recognized artists.

The Musee du Vieux Montmartre features many interesting displays including original photographs, collections of documents, maps and art exhibits. Exhibits rotate frequently and are devoted to artists from many fields. Surrounding the building itself is a beautiful little garden that helps maintain the look and feel of 17th Century life.
