The National Museum of Natural History isn't just one building, as its name may suggest. It is a network of sites across France, with its main home at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris. Here, visitors can find the most extensive collection of natural exhibits, such as the taxidermy animals in the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, the fossils and dinosaur skeletons in the Galerie de Paléontologie et d’Anatomie Comparée, and the meteorites and crystals in the Galerie de Minéralogie et de Géologie. Other branches of the museum can be seen at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris and the Musée des Confluences in Lyon, and each one offers an array of captivating nature-related artifacts.
